Courtney is a compassionate registered psychologist with a strong desire to help her clients shift from a sense of surviving life to thriving in life. During her experience in private practice, Courtney has worked with clients across the lifespan, with diverse backgrounds, and a variety of different presentations.

 

Courtney practices several different psychotherapies, with her main orientations being cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. She incorporates the mind-body relationship and lifestyle changes to assist in overcoming difficulties.

 

Courtney has experience working within the scope of WorkCover, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and Medicare.

 

Courtney considers the therapeutic alliance to be particularly important in psychotherapy. She strives to create a comfortable and safe space for clients to learn and grow.
