Calm and Compassionate

Robyn has over 25 years clinical experience working in the public health, corporate and private health sectors and is an AHPRA registered Mental Health Occupational Therapist with a Masters of Brain and Mind Science. 

 

Robyn has a calm and compassionate approach which helps clients feel safe, seen and heard.

She likes to help people connect with their strengths and develop the skills and confidence to self-manage long term.

 

Robyn focuses on a person's individual goals incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and OT specific goal directed activity and sensory modulation.  Robyn uses a trauma informed and neuroscience/evidence based approach, to teach clients about neuroplasticity, and the brains wonderful capacity to learn despite any age.

Robyn likes to make therapy fun and does this by tapping into Smart Technology where appropriate and may use  EEG/neurofeedback, virtual reality, and smartphone apps.

 

Robyn is approved by Medicare to provide Focussed Psychological Strategies under Better Access to Mental Health.
