Chris is a registered psychologist with extensive experience in the mental health field and has a passion for supporting people to make positive changes in their lives. Chris sees young adults through to older people.

 

Chris has a genuine, warm, and compassionate approach that makes people feel safe and comfortable in expressing their needs and feelings without judgement. He works with you to develop an individualised therapy program that draws on your strengths and is driven by your values and aspirations.

His areas of expertise include:

  • anxiety disorders such as general anxiety, health anxiety, phobias, and social anxiety

  • depression and insomnia

Chris also specialises in:

  • assisting people enhance their self-esteem, confidence, and the development of assertiveness skills

  • supporting people whose perfectionist tendencies cause distress and hold them back from living their best life

  • guiding people to cope with work related stress

  • life transitions including retrenchment, retirement, separation, chronic medical conditions, as well as grief and loss

  • developing resilience skills

Chris is involved in taking referrals for the Evolving Minds adult ADHD Assessment service as well as conducting Adult Autism assessments.
