Support for Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
at Evolving Minds Counselling
At Evolving Minds Counselling, we provide compassionate, evidence based support for Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Generalised Anxiety Disorder can affect children, adolescents and adults and seniors with symptoms presenting differently depending on our stage of life.
GAD presents as excessive anxiety about everyday situations, often without an obvious cause. This ongoing worry can be difficult to control and can impact relationships, work, sleep and our overall well-being. Symptoms include muscle tension, headaches, irritability, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, nausea and fatigue.

Our team of experienced clinicians is trained in a range of evidence based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based strategies. We work collaboratively with you to understand your experience, reduce anxiety, and build practical skills to help you regain a sense of calm and confidence.
