Jaina Jogia is a Registered Psychologist at Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology in Menai. She works with children, adolescents and adults across the Sutherland Shire, offering therapy in person at the Menai practice and online across Australia.
With a calm and compassionate presence, Jaina creates a respectful therapeutic space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves, developing insight and building practical coping strategies. She is particularly mindful of those who may feel unsure or anxious about beginning therapy, helping them feel understood and more confident in the process.
Jaina works extensively with eating disorders and body image concerns, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating and disordered eating. She draws on Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), an evidence-based approach for treating eating disorders.
She also works with people impacted by trauma, including post-traumatic stress and the lasting effects of distressing experiences. Jaina is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and takes a trauma-informed approach throughout her work.
Jaina has a strong focus on neurodivergence, supporting children, adolescents and adults living with ADHD and autism. Her work focuses on emotional regulation, executive functioning, sensory experiences and the everyday impact of being neurodivergent in environments not always designed for them.
Jaina provides Adult ADHD and Adult Autism assessments for people seeking clarity around attention, executive functioning, sensory processing, and lifelong patterns of thinking and behaviour. Her assessment process is thorough and respectful, supporting greater understanding and informed next steps.
Jaina also supports people recovering from motor vehicle accidents and provides therapy under Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance.
