Meet Katelyn Mannix
Neurodivergence • ADHD and Autism Assessments
• Anxiety • Perinatal Mental Health
Katelyn Mannix is a Registered Psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar) at Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology in Menai. She works with children, adolescents and adults across the Sutherland Shire, offering therapy in person at our Menai practice and online across Australia.
Katelyn brings a warm, down-to-earth and compassionate approach to her work. She creates a space where clients feel heard, understood and safe to explore what is going on for them, while building practical strategies for change. Her approach is collaborative and centred on each client's strengths, with a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults.
Katelyn has a strong interest in working with neurodivergent clients and takes a neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach. She supports children, adolescents and adults living with ADHD and autism, helping them with emotional regulation, executive functioning, social experiences and the everyday impact of being neurodivergent in environments not always designed for them.
Katelyn provides Adult ADHD and Adult Autism assessments, as well as adolescent assessments. She works with people to make sense of long-standing patterns, particularly in areas such as attention, overwhelm, social experiences and day-to-day functioning. Her approach focuses on providing clear, meaningful feedback to support understanding and next steps.
She also works with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma and self-esteem challenges.
Katelyn has a particular interest in perinatal mental health, supporting people through pregnancy, postnatal adjustment, and the emotional shifts that can come with this stage of life.
