Brandon Colagrossi Registered Psychologist at Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology

Meet Brandon Colagrossi

Brandon is a Registered Psychologist at Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology, providing therapy for adolescents and adults, as well as couples. Appointments are available in person at the Menai practice and via telehealth across Australia.

Brandon works with people experiencing a range of mental health conditions, with particular clinical interests in ADHD, adjustment disorder, and anxiety related presentations, including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, specific phobias, and social anxiety.

He also works extensively with trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including trauma related to domestic and family violence, accidents, and other overwhelming or distressing life experiences.

His work is trauma-informed and recognises the impact of past experiences on emotional regulation, identity, relationships, and day-to-day functioning. Brandon works collaboratively with clients to build understanding, stability, and practical strategies that align with their goals and circumstances.

Brandon also provides couple and relationship counselling, working with partners experiencing communication difficulties, relational stress, trust ruptures, and the impact of mental health challenges within their relationship. Therapy with couples focuses on identifying patterns, improving communication, and strengthening connection in practical and meaningful ways.

Brandon draws on a range of evidence based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. His approach is structured, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s goals, needs, and lived experience.

Brandon also has experience working with people involved in Workers’ Compensation and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance claims, assisting with the psychological impact of injury, recovery, and return-to-work processes, with an understanding of reporting requirements.
