Brandon Colagrossi
Anxiety • OCD • Trauma • Relationship Counselling
Brandon Colagrossi is a Registered Psychologist at Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology in Menai. He works with adolescents aged 15 and over and adults across the Sutherland Shire.
Brandon creates a respectful and supportive therapeutic space where people feel heard and understood. He is particularly mindful of those who may feel hesitant about therapy, helping them feel comfortable and engaged in the process.
He works with people experiencing anxiety in many of its forms, including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic, phobias and social anxiety. Many of the people he sees describe feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of worry or avoidance, or unable to switch off from ongoing stress. Brandon helps people understand how anxiety is showing up for them and works alongside them to find approaches that feel manageable, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
Brandon also works with people who are living with ADHD, supporting them with emotional regulation, executive function and the everyday impact ADHD can have on work, study and relationships.
For those who have been impacted by trauma, including post-traumatic stress and experiences of domestic and family violence. He takes a trauma-informed and somatic approach, gently exploring how past experiences may be shaping emotional responses and relationships.
He also works with people recovering from workplace injuries or motor vehicle accidents, including those engaged in Workers Compensation and CTP claims. These processes can feel stressful and overwhelming. Brandon works alongside people as they move through them.
Alongside individual therapy, Brandon offers couples and relationship counselling. He works with partners navigating communication difficulties, conflict and disconnection, helping them better understand their patterns and find new ways of relating to one another.
