Ashlee Helene
Evolving Minds: Focus on Trauma and Attachment

Ashlee is a compassionate psychologist dedicated to supporting adults on their mental health journey. With extensive experience working with individuals aged seventeen and older, she has a special interest in trauma-focused therapy.
At Evolving Minds Counselling, Ashlee uses a trauma-informed approach to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered. She draws on a range of therapeutic techniques, including Somatic Psychotherapy, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), addressing both the mind and body throughout the healing process. Her work is also grounded in attachment theory, recognising the critical role relationships and emotional connections play in mental health and wellbeing.
In addition to her trauma-focused work, Ashlee supports clients with anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment disorder, and stress management, ADHD and ADD. She understands every individual’s journey is unique and takes a personalised, flexible approach to therapy, tailoring strategies to meet each client's needs and goals.
