Meet Sebastian 

Sebastian is a much-loved member of the Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology team. As a trained therapy dog, he has completed formal animal-assisted therapy training and brings comfort, warmth and joy to everyone he meets.

Sebastian loves spending his days alongside his mum, Charmaine, one of our experienced clinicians, although he’s equally happy relaxing with our friendly Client Relationship Team at Evolving Minds Menai, especially when there are pats to enjoy or toys to play with.

​

Sebastian is a Cavoodle, a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. His gentle nature and playful spirit bring a calm, welcoming energy to our Menai therapy practice, helping clients of all ages feel more at ease.

 

Having Sebastian in the office adds an extra layer of comfort to the therapeutic environment. His presence can help reduce stress, support emotional regulation and create a sense of connection, particularly for those navigating trauma, anxiety disorders or neurodivergence.

 

He’s very friendly, so feel free to say hello or give Sebastian the therapy dog in Sydney a gentle pat if you see him around the office.  Sebastian may be included in sessions with clinicians at our Menai practice when clients feel this would be helpful.
