Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (DBT-E) is an evidence based approach that helps build a healthier relationship with food, body image and emotions. Adapted from standard DBT, this therapy focuses on the emotional drivers of disordered eating behaviours such as bingeing, purging and restriction.

DBT-E is particularly helpful for people who experience intense emotions, perfectionism, or use food to manage distress. It also supports to navigate shame and emotional eating.
