Grief and Loss Counselling
at Evolving Minds Counselling
Grief is a deeply personal journey, and no two experiences are the same. At Evolving Minds Counselling, we support you in honouring memories, adjusting to life after loss, and rediscovering meaning and purpose.

Therapy provides a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can share your feelings openly, navigate complex emotions and develop effective coping strategies. Our clinicians are committed to creating an environment where you feel heard, validated and supported throughout your healing process.

Grief often involves a range of emotions such as denial, anger, sadness, acceptance and a search for meaning. These stages are not linear and it is common to move between them over time. Understanding the grieving process can offer clarity and help restore emotional balance.

Grief counselling offers more than emotional support, it provides practical tools to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and support you in moving forward at your own pace.
At Evolving Minds, we use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Mindfulness-Based approaches. We also offer creative therapies, including art and expressive therapies, to provide alternative ways of processing and expressing grief.

Grief can feel isolating, although support is available. For further information, we also recommend exploring additional resources through GriefLine.
