Mood disorders involve ongoing changes in mood that interfere with how a person feels, thinks and manages life. They may present as persistent low mood, irritability, or emotional highs and lows. Common conditions include major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder (where specialised bipolar disorder therapy treatment in Sydney would help), persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia), seasonal affective disorder, postnatal depression, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). These presentations often co-occur with anxiety, trauma, or stress-related conditions.
