Robyn Thomas

Robyn has been with Evolving Minds for the past two years and  boasts an impressive clinical background, with over 25 years of experience across various sectors, including public health, corporate, and private health. She is a registered Mental Health Occupational Therapist with AHPRA and holds a Masters of Brain and Mind Science.

Robyn's therapeutic approach at Evolving Minds is characterised by her calm and compassionate demeanor, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel truly acknowledged.

When working with clients at Evolving Minds, her primary goal is to empower individuals by helping them recognise their strengths and equipping them with the skills and self-confidence necessary for long-term self-management.

Robyn's practice at Evolving Minds draws from a range of evidence-based techniques, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and targeted occupational therapy activities with a sensory modulation focus. She takes a neuroscience-based approach, educating clients about neuroplasticity and the brain's remarkable ability to learn and adapt at any age.

In her effort to make therapy engaging and effective, Robyn taps into smart technology when suitable.
