Stress Management
at Evolving Minds Counselling
Stress is a normal part of life, although when it becomes overwhelming, it can negatively affect your mental health, physical well-being, and overall quality of life. Recognising how stress impacts your mood, thoughts, behaviour, and relationships is the first step toward managing it effectively.

At Evolving Minds Counselling, we support children, adolescents, and adults to better understand their stress responses and develop practical, evidence based strategies to restore balance. Therapy focuses on identifying the sources of stress and learning how to manage them in healthier, more sustainable ways.

We use a range of evidence based therapies approaches tailored to your needs. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to support present-moment awareness and emotional regulation.

Our therapists help you develop healthy lifestyle habits that support stress management and emotional well-being. This may include improving sleep hygiene, increasing physical activity, strengthening social support, and building effective time management and organisational skills.
