Therapy for Adults and Seniors
at Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology
At Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology, we appreciate reaching out for support can feel daunting. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or simply want a safe space to talk things through, our experienced clinicians offer compassionate, non-judgemental support for adults of all ages.
People seek therapy for many reasons. You might be facing relationship difficulties, workplace stress, or navigating major life transitions such as retirement, career changes, separation, or early parenting. We also support clients with challenges related to pregnancy and perinatal mental health. You don’t need to be in crisis, sometimes, having space to reflect and gain perspective can lead to meaningful change.
We provide in-person counselling at our Menai practice in the Sutherland Shire, as well as online therapy for those who prefer the convenience of remote sessions. Our goal is to create a calm, confidential environment where you feel safe to explore your experiences, recognise patterns and develop practical strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Our clinicians draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). We offer specialised support for issues such as trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and eating disorders, with each treatment plan tailored to your personal goals, values, and circumstances.
At Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology, therapy is a collaborative process. We work with you to identify what matters most, set meaningful goals, and regularly review progress to ensure sessions stay effective and aligned with your needs.
