ADHD and ADD Support for Children, Adolescents and Adults
at Evolving Minds Counselling
At Evolving Minds Counselling, we recognise every brain works differently. If you are living with ADHD or ADD, or supporting a child who is, you may find parts of daily life more challenging. With the right support, it’s possible to take back control and build on your strengths.
What is the Difference between ADHD and ADD?

ADHD often involves challenges with concentration, impulsivity, and feeling constantly "on the go," while ADD typically affects focus, organisation, and attention. These differences can make daily life, study, work, and relationships feel overwhelming — but with the right strategies, they can be managed.

It’s also common for individuals with ADHD or ADD to experience anxiety. Difficulties with focus and managing daily demands can add to feelings of stress and overwhelm.

Our Approach

At Evolving Minds Counselling, we take a flexible, personalised approach. We start by understanding how ADHD or ADD affects your life and work with you to build strategies that fit your needs and strengths.

We use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and practical coaching to support time management, planning, and organisation.
Our goal is to make daily life feel less overwhelming and more manageable, while also helping you strengthen communication and connections with family, friends, and the wider community.
Our clinicians have specialised training in supporting ADHD and ADD across all life stages. We also offer comprehensive Adult ADHD Assessments.
